Preparation and feeding
Stir the milk powder into warm (approx. 45 °C) water using a whisk.
Stir until a homogeneous, lump-free liquid has formed. Feed the finished milk at body temperature (approx. 38 °C). Prepare the milk fresh for each meal. Remove any unabsorbed milk after 30 minutes at the latest.
Use clean and boiled materials to prepare the milk.
The puppies are fed with feeding bottles, pipettes or syringes for the first two weeks. Boil the used bottles, pipettes or syringes.
Check the weight daily. The puppies should gain weight daily and not lose any weight. After 7 to 9 days, the birth weight should have doubled.
From the third week onwards, you can start feeding your puppy with suitable puppy food. First mix with puppy milk, then with water and leave to soften.
